Brandi Sokolosky
Executive Director

Brandi Sokolosky has more than 15 years of managerial experience. She is a graduate of Draughn’s Business College where she majored in Business Management. Her career focus has been in event coordination and project management, having worked in several local companies that also added fundraising, contract negotiation, travel coordination and facilities planning to her set of skills.

In the past, Brandi has served extensively with nonprofits, including: the 2005, 2006 & 2008 Saguaro Cup Sports Festivals as a Director; the 2007 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series as Executive Director; the 2007 North American Gay Amateur Athletics Alliance Women’s Division as Secretary; and the 2003-2007 Cactus Cities Softball League as President and Women’s Division Commissioner. Brandi was also named ECHO Magazine’s 2006 Women of the Year for her work with Cactus Cities Softball League and the successful bid to bring the 2007 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series to Phoenix, Arizona.



Jimmie Munoz
Administrative Assistant

Jimmie Munoz comes to Phoenix Pride with a passion for his family and his community. As a lifelong resident of Phoenix, Jimmie has been active in the political and social climate for over 15 years. He
earned a B.A. in Religious & Cultural Studies from ASU and believes
his knowledge of people and culture has been an asset for his work in the community. Jimmie has a variety of experience that includes special events planning, public relations, fundraising, and community organizing.

From 2006 – 2010 Jimmie served as an elected member of the
Roosevelt School Board and considers his work to lead the Roosevelt School District from “Failing” to “Performing Plus” in two years and the establishment of the Roosevelt Scholarship Foundation as his two proudest achievements.

Jimmie is believes the strength of the LGBTQ community is its diversity. He is committed to helping Phoenix Pride celebrate that diversity. As Project Manager for Phoenix Pride, Jimmie would dedicate his time to furthering the reach and impact of the organization. For fun, Jimmie enjoys coaching a LGBTQ youth softball team as part of the Cactus Cities Softball League, and
traveling with his partner.
