Lawrence Moore

Lawrence Moore is a native of Prescott, Arizona. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University, a master’s from Arizona State and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, in Evanston, Illinois. Lawrence’s career in Community Affairs, Public Relations and Marketing Communications spans more than two decades. The bulk of his professional experience was gained in the corporate arena; most notably, during his 13-year tenure with Motorola. Lawrence acted as a primary public representative for the company and served in volunteer leadership roles for a number of key Valley organizations, including more than a decade of service with the Valley of the Sun United Way. In recognition of his commitment to the community, Lawrence has been recognized with a variety of awards including a Motorola Next Generation Leadership designation, a Distinguished Alumnus award from Northern Arizona University and a Martin Luther King, Jr. Living the Dream award from the City of Phoenix Human Relations Commission.

Recently, Lawrence gave up corporate life to work as an independent consultant, advising clients on strategic issues related to marketing, corporate social responsibility, crisis and issues management communications and executive coaching. He maintains his commitment to the community and remains active as a volunteer.

Lawrence currently chairs the Pride Grants Committee 2009-2010 and Human Resources Committee 2009-2010.
