2nd Annual OUTdayPHX Community Essay Contest

In celebration of "National Coming Out Day" and our second annual OUTdayPHX, in 1000 words or less, Phoenix Pride wants to know your personal coming OUT story.

Click the link below, fill out the form, copy/paste your story and hit SUBMIT STORY.

RULES & INFORMATION:
Essay contest open to all Arizona residents of all ages.
Essay deadline: September 3rd, 2010
Keep it under 1000 words, BE CREATIVE and don't forget to use proper grammar and punctuation.

WHAT DO YOU WIN??
Our Essay Review Committee will narrow down the essays and select a Top 20. Throughout the month of October, LGBT History Month, those Top 20 stories will be featured on the Phoenix Pride website.

Representatives from Phoenix Pride will then select the 5 best essays, those five authors will be invited to share their story along side community leaders and our celebrity guest speakers at OUTdayPHX on Sunday, October 10th, 2010 at the Stone House Pavilion at the Phoenix Zoo.

Each of the five authors will ride-along in a luxury vehicle during the 2011 Phoenix Pride Parade, receive a 2011 Phoenix Pride Party Pack and a feature story in Echo Magazine.

*If your story is selected you will be notified no later than September 10th, 2010.
